Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except for buprenorphine), and maintain comprehensive medical documentation. Collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure continuity of care while staying current on telehealth innovations and best practices. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Complete applicable training, including buprenorphine certification, and schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities through modern, high-quality medicine.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five, plus willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered)
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
- Passion for expanding access to care and making a meaningful impact
