Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment, while ordering labs and prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine). Build therapeutic doctor-patient relationships and collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain medical documentation, stay current on telehealth innovations, and complete required training including buprenorphine certification. Commit to at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) across four days with one week's advance scheduling. Licensed in at least three U.S. states (preferably five including CA, FL, NC, PA, TX) with active DEA and CSL. Join QuickMD to expand access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five, plus willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered)
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
Desired Qualifications
- Background in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care
- Active medical license in at least five states (preferred over the minimum of three)
- Passion for expanding access to care and making a meaningful impact
