Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and maintain accurate medical documentation. Collaborate with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care while building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth innovation. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) across four days, with onboarding including required training for buprenorphine and telemedicine platforms. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
