Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform high-quality treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance on their proper usage, collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes. Maintain appropriate medical documentation and stay current with medical advancements and telehealth innovation. Complete applicable training, including buprenorphine certification, and work at least 15 core hours weekly from 8AM-6PM locally over four days. Join a network of experienced physicians expanding access to care in underserved communities through addiction treatment and general telehealth services.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
