Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care through patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment, while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform high-quality decisions. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care by building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships and prescribing medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine for opioid addiction). Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and maintain accurate medical documentation. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices. Commit to a schedule of at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM) across four days, with assistance provided for obtaining state licenses in high-demand areas. Join a network of physicians expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
