Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance, noting that controlled substances are limited to buprenorphine for opioid addiction. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care and maintain appropriate medical documentation. Stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices. This role requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five, including CA, FL, NC, PA, TX), DEA certification, and the ability to work 15 core hours weekly from 8AM-6PM locally. Compensation ranges from $35 per consult to over $400K annually, with full malpractice coverage and schedule flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in CA, FL, NC, PA, or TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
