Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform high-quality treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance on their proper usage, collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes. Maintain appropriate medical documentation and stay current with medical advancements and telehealth best practices. This role requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five) and DEA certification, with a commitment to 15 core hours weekly. QuickMD offers substantial flexibility, allowing physicians to set their own schedules and work from anywhere without administrative burdens, while providing industry-leading compensation and full malpractice coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms
- Comfort using EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
