Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform high-quality treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and guide proper usage, collaborating with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes. Maintain appropriate medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovation and best practices. Schedule at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with assistance provided for obtaining additional state licenses. This role offers substantial flexibility to work from anywhere without administrative burdens, supporting addiction treatment efforts and improving access to care in underserved communities.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least three or more of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
