Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Order and interpret lab tests to inform treatment decisions, prescribe medications (excluding controlled substances except buprenorphine), and maintain comprehensive medical documentation. Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and support staff to ensure continuity of care while building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Stay current with telehealth innovation and medical best practices. Requires an active medical license in at least three U.S. states (preferably five including CA, FL, NC, PA, TX), DEA certification, and ability to work 15-20 hours weekly. Compensation averages $200/hour for top physicians in high-demand states.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five, plus willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered)
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states and/or three or emore of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally), over four days each week, scheduling at least one week in advance
- At least one DEA certification and applicable CSL (if required)
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs (training provided)
- Passion for expanding access to care and making a meaningful impact
- As part of the onboarding process, all physicians are required to complete applicable training that may include buprenorphine training
