Job Summary
Provide exceptional virtual care including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care while ordering and interpreting lab tests to inform high-quality decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance on usage, collaborating with nurse practitioners and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient outcomes. Maintain appropriate medical documentation and stay current with telehealth innovation and best practices. Schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly (8AM-6PM locally) over four days, with assistance provided for obtaining additional state licenses. Join a growing network expanding access to addiction treatment and underserved communities through streamlined EMR technology and dedicated support.
Required Qualifications
- Active medical license in at least three U.S. states
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses
- Critical to be licensed in at least five states
- Licensed in at least one of the following states: CA, FL, NC, PA, TX
- Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings
- Ability to schedule and work at least 15 core hours weekly
- Work 8AM-6PM locally
- Work over four days each week
- Schedule at least one week in advance
- Strong communication skills
- Commitment to medical excellence
- Comfort using telemedicine platforms and EMRs
- At least one DEA certification
- Applicable CSL (if required)
- Passion for expanding access to care and making a meaningful impact
- Complete applicable training that may include buprenorphine training
