Virtual Assistant - Solutions Engineer

Job Summary
Assist in pre-sales demos and guide MSP partners through training, onboarding, and configuration of the Island Enterprise Browser and GenAI DLP solution. Deploy and integrate the platform with identity, network, and endpoint management systems while diagnosing technical issues across security layers. Create and update technical documentation, capture partner feedback to refine playbooks, and configure advanced security policies including Conditional Access and telemetry integrations. This role supports a growing team focused on cloud infrastructure and security enablement, requiring strong communication skills and flexibility for occasional launch support.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in Cloud or Systems Engineering, Technical Consulting, or MSP-focused IT support
- Strong familiarity with Azure, Google Workspace (GWS), and Active Directory/Entra ID
- Experience with Identity Providers (IdPs) & SAML such as Okta, Ping, OneLogin, or similar
- Understanding of VDI technologies (Citrix, VMware Horizon, Azure Virtual Desktop, etc.)
- Proficiency with networking fundamentals (DNS, SSL, VPNs, ZTNA, proxy configurations)
- Comfort with endpoint management and policy-based configurations (Intune, GPO, JAMF, etc.)
- Hands-on with identity-based access (Conditional Access, device posture, SSO/MFA)
- Experience governing GenAI usage (protecting sensitive data in prompts, auditing usage, tuning allow/warn/block policies)
- Ability to conduct engaging technical demos and communicate clearly with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities; capable of translating complex technical concepts into actionable guidance
