Job Summary
The position involves participating in project assignments related to service activities at Gooseneck Implement, working full-time while attending online classes through Arkansas State University – Beebe, and gaining hands-on experience in the service department. Responsibilities include performing basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment, maintaining knowledge of John Deere products, participating in training programs for skill development, and completing reports related to work. Candidates must have a High School Diploma, be pursuing an AAS Degree in the John Deere Tech program, and meet admission requirements.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- Meets the admission requirements set by Arkansas State University – Beebe
- Pursuing AAS Degree in John Deere Tech program
- Maintain at least a 2.0 grade point average while in the program
- Ability to perform basic repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment following Technical Manual procedures
- Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
- Ability to operate vehicles and equipment used for diagnostic purposes
- Proficient oral and written communication skills
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
- Valid driver’s license is required
