Job Summary
Conduct state safety and emissions inspections on customer vehicles while working alongside ASE Certified Technicians. Safely transport customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle. Pick up parts, supplies, and tires from vendors or the corporate office. Operate the company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner, obeying all traffic laws. Perform tire mounting, wheel balance, rotation, oil changes, and other basic services at the direction of the Shop Foreman or Store Manager. Document vehicle condition using the company's Multi-point Inspection and Repair Order. Maintain shop cleanliness including the service area, tire racks, and showroom. Follow all safety procedures and report concerns to management.
Required Qualifications
- Current/valid Virginia State Inspection Certification and Emissions
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Pass MVR Screening
- At least 18 years of age
- Current Virginia state inspector's license
- Emissions inspector certification
