Job Summary
Infectious Disease locum tenens assignment for an inpatient care setting with new consult coverage. Responsibilities include central line placement and vascular access device management, microscopic specimen evaluation, and intrathecal administration of anti-infective agents. The shift runs Monday–Friday, 8 am–5 pm, with a 5 pm on-call handover for new consults. Assignment is ongoing with paid malpractice insurance and pre-paid travel and housing expenses. Weatherby Healthcare provides dedicated consultant support and access to online time-entry. Charter member of NALTO. Location is Duluth, MN, USA; travel and housing are arranged by Weatherby.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO license
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Infectious Disease
- medical license in good standing
- ability to obtain medical staff privileges at the assignment site
