Virginia Christian Education Network Executive Director

Executive Director of the Virginia Christian Education Network leads efforts to advance and protect Christian education in Virginia, reporting to The Family Foundation. This full-time, salaried role focuses on growing and engaging member schools (evangelical and Catholic), expanding membership services, and driving education policy development and advocacy. Responsibilities include cultivating relationships with state lawmakers and other organizations, developing systems to assist churches or other groups in opening new Christian schools, guiding programs like Teach for the Kingdom and Hartshorn Dignity of Life Awards, and forming a Leadership Council from member school administrators. The role also involves contributing to affiliate networks and operating within the cooperative agreement with the Christian Education Network, with occasional statewide travel. Key skills include in-depth research, clear written content, persuasive oral communication, strong time management, multi-project coordination, technological proficiency (CRM and related tools), and a deep commitment to the mission and faith alignment. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, at the Richmond office, Virginia, with in-state travel.
