Job Summary
Inspectors receive assignments electronically, schedule inspections via phone or email, and conduct property inspections for potential issues or hazards. Responsibilities include taking 20-35 photos, measuring, and interviewing the insured for operational information. Inspectors complete reports using the Loss Control 360 system and return them electronically. Preferred applicants should have experience in commercial insurance inspections and the ability to work independently. Professional certifications such as CSP or ALCM are helpful but not required. Competitive pay is offered per case, with a dominant standard fee range of $60 - $75.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified to work in the USA
- 3-5 years’ experience providing commercial insurance loss control inspections
- Experience completing commercial line inspections
- Completed a training course such as the VIITA Basic Commercial Line Inspector course or its equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of commercial property and casualty lines: property, general liability, and worker's compensation
- Comfortable completing reports online and uploading documents
