Job Summary
Deliver American Heart Association and American Red Cross CPR and BLS training sessions while demonstrating proper techniques and evaluating student performance. Provide clear feedback throughout courses and ensure participants meet certification requirements. Manage and maintain personal training equipment, including at least three manikin sets, while adhering to applicable course standards. Classes are primarily scheduled on weekends with weekday availability preferred, with pay ranging from $25.00 to $45.00 per teaching hour. Work is performed in person at scheduled locations, including offices, schools, and community centers, with schedules varying based on demand and availability.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CPR Instructor Certification
- Strong knowledge of CPR and AED procedures
- Clear communication and teaching skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliable time-management skills
- Ability to work with students of different experience levels
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and transport training equipment up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to physically demonstrate proper CPR and AED skills during class
- Weekday availability is preferred
- Must be able to provide and manage their own CPR training equipment
- Minimum of three manikin sets
