Job Summary

Prepare patients and laboratory for procedures, set up sterile fields, and operate x-ray and CathLab equipment under the direction of the medical director. Monitor vital signs, interpret EKG and pressure readings, and assist with pacemaker insertion or contrast delivery. Perform data calculations, maintain equipment quality control, and teach allied health students. Requires AMA-approved radiologic technology degree, ARRT registration, Ohio licensure, and ACLS certification. Full-time position with a pay rate of $34.53-$56.86 hourly.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an AMA approved school or Associate Degree from an AMA approved school in Radiologic Technology
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Maintains licensure requirements for the State of Ohio
  • Maintains annual CPR Certification
  • ACLS required within one year of hire
  • Exerting up to 20-50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible up to 10 pounds amount of force often

Desired Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of Cardiac Catheterization, peripheral and/or peripheral experience
  • A knowledge of cardiovascular procedures
  • Has knowledge of the clinical interventions and equipment necessary to meet the specific needs of the patient population served
