Job Summary
Remove, install, repair, and modify VIP aircraft interior components including seats, sidewalls, headliners, flooring, and cabinetry. Inspect interior components for damage, wear, fit, alignment, and appearance, then repair or replace damaged panels, furnishings, and hardware. Read and interpret engineering drawings, installation instructions, and technical documentation while using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. Coordinate with technicians, inspectors, and leads throughout the project while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area. Ensure all completed work meets VIP appearance, fit, finish, and quality standards. Minimum three years of aircraft interior installation, repair, modification, or refurbishment experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of aircraft interior installation, repair, modification, or refurbishment experience
- Ability to remove and install aircraft interior components without causing damage
- Ability to read and understand drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation
- Ability to measure, trim, fit, align, and secure interior components accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining quality standards
- Ability to work in confined aircraft interior spaces and various physical positions
- Must be able to lift and move aircraft interior components, tools, and materials as required
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- VIP, corporate, or business aircraft interior experience strongly preferred
- Experience installing aircraft seating, panels, flooring, cabinetry, monuments, or soft goods preferred
- Experience working in an aircraft maintenance, completion, modification, or refurbishment environment preferred
- Knowledge of aircraft interior installation and refurbishment practices
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring equipment, and installation hardware
- Strong attention to appearance, fit, finish, and workmanship
- Ability to identify and correct interior installation discrepancies
