Job Summary
VIP Host role at Ballpark Village focuses on generating revenue through developing and servicing relationships with existing and potential VIP guests. Responsibilities include managing and leading oversight of VIP clientele, developing private event contacts, concierge services, hospitality for celebrity and international guests, processing VIP reservations accurately, greeting VIP guests on arrival, maintaining high visibility in the venue, and building guest loyalty through exceptional service and dependability. The position involves attracting new VIPs, updating and maintaining the VIP database, soliciting cocktail party, table and bottle sales, informing guests about upcoming events, representing the venue professionally, collaborating with the General Manager and marketing, coordinating with management on reservation dynamics, and ensuring safety and security of the premises. Skills emphasized include strong guest relations, relationship-building, proactive hospitality, attention to detail, ability to work with reservation systems (OpenTable, Seven Rooms), confidentiality, and excellent communication and time-management abilities.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high-volume elevated dining restaurant in a metropolitan market
- Experience with online booking platforms such as OpenTable and Seven Rooms
- Must be detail oriented and possess effective communication and written skills
- Must have computer knowledge (Excel, Windows, etc.)
- Punctuality and regular and reliable attendance; able to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Effective communication, written and interpersonal skills
- Time management skills
- Maintain confidentiality of company and VIP information
