Job Summary
Conduct VIP bar service, upselling, and responsible alcohol sales while maintaining daily inventories and end-of-shift financial reporting. Manage workspace cleanliness, organization, and supply levels across all bars, ensuring adherence to brand standards and venue safety protocols. Serve guests with extensive knowledge of liquor, wine, and beer offerings, communicating ingredient details and allergens to maximize beverage sales. Follow all Steps of Service, federal and local laws regarding alcohol handling, and mandatory trainings while navigating the venue's loud, dark, and tight conditions. Maintain a professional appearance and positive guest engagement to drive revenue and profitability.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Prior bartending experience in a nightclub setting
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented restaurant/bar/venue environment
- Extensive knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails
- Must have a valid TABC card
- Exceptional guest service and hospitality skills
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
- Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work both as a team and independently
- Must be able to communicate in English with guests and other team members
- Must have the ability to withstand high temperatures, heat and sun
- Must adhere to both company and department specific policies and procedures
- Ability to take direction, and communicate effectively and professionally
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to perform physical requirements of position including standing for extended periods of time, kneeling, stooping, using stairs, able to lift loads of up to 50 lbs
- Able to work rapidly, especially during peak periods to ensure that all guests are being serviced properly and necessary operational tasks are being completed in a timely manner
- Ability to sustain loud noise volume
