Job Summary
Technical Specialist to progress implementation of the Fiji National Action Plan (NAP) to End Violence Against Women and Girls (EVAWG). Provides high‐quality technical assistance, capacity‐strengthening, strategic planning, and support to 13 settings; develops and implements a national M&E framework; facilitates linkages between NAP actions and related initiatives (Service Delivery Protocol and Gender Transformative Capacity Development); engages with government, civil society and partners to socialize priorities, deliver action plans, and produce progress reports. The role involves developing setting‐specific resource packs and a general all‐setting toolkit, ensuring cohesive planning, data collection and analysis, and documenting monthly progress, while coordinating tasks with the NAP Coordination and Implementation Unit. Based in Suva, Fiji, with responsibilities focused on EVAWG and GEDSI program outcomes and policy recommendations, reporting to the National Coordinator and cross‐cuttingPlatform leads.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in social sciences, human rights, gender/women's studies, international development or related field (desired)
- Bachelor’s Degree with additional relevant work experience
