Job Summary
Operate Zund plotter and other vinyl-cutting/finishing machines in our graphic finishing department. Set up and adjust cut files in Zund Cut Center to optimize speed, registration, and quality. Work with vinyl cutters (Zund, Kongsberg, Summa, Gerber) and utilize Adobe Suite as needed. Read blueprints and work instructions to determine operations; perform quality checks with calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and squares; follow safety, housekeeping, and quality policies. Support manufacturing process under the direction of the Department Manager; perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- high degree of mechanical aptitude
- ability to write, speak and read in English
- good computer skills
- ability to pass print reading, measurement and fraction/decimal conversion tests
