Vintage Car Museum Curator

Job Summary
Lead the design, development, and interpretation of antique automobile exhibits and related programs. Oversee collection management, conservation, cataloging, provenance documentation, and condition reporting; coordinate acquisitions (donations, purchases, loans); develop compelling interpretive materials (labels, signage, multimedia content, brochures, virtual exhibits); conduct research on vehicles, designers, manufacturers, and historical eras; create educational programs, tours, lectures, and Public Engagement activities; collaborate with restoration staff, marketing, and donors; manage budgets and volunteers, and ensure compliance with standards and ethical guidelines. Strong research, writing, and communication skills, experience with museum collections, and knowledge of conservation practices are essential. Evening/weekend hours may be required for events. The role is based in Rogers, MN with on-site responsibilities at the museum.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Museum Studies, History, Art History, Automotive History, or a related field
- Experience working with museum collections, archives, or exhibitions
- Strong research, writing, and communication skills
- Knowledge of conservation practices and object handling standards
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
