Job Summary
Village Housekeeper based in Wadeye NT: maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming accommodation environment across approximately 80 single donga-style staff and guest rooms, plus shared facilities; work with a small team of local Indigenous housekeepers to uphold high standards of cleanliness, presentation and hygiene; mentor and train culturally diverse staff; role includes supervisory responsibilities and supporting community initiatives; desirable certificates include chemical handling/storage and cleaning/housekeeping credentials; essential: National Police check (assistance available), NT Driver’s licence, NLC Work & Residential permits (assistance available); not-for-profit employer Thamarrurr Development Corporation (TDC) supports Wadeye community with housing and more; eligibility to work in Australia requested and applications to include copies of relevant certificates and two referees; remote option is in-person in Wadeye, NT.
Required Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience
