Job Summary
Village Care Attendant provides essential personal care to tenants with physical disabilities during the 3rd shift (11pm–7am). Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living in the absence of a PCA, carrying out facility emergency procedures as needed, and accurate call-recordkeeping. Requires CNA or HHA certification (preferred) and CPR/First Aid certification, with eligibility to obtain if not already held within 6 months. Experience in human services, ability to push/pull and lift up to 51 pounds, and working knowledge of hoist equipment. Emphasizes confidentiality, teamwork, and strong communication to support tenants’ independence and well-being.
Required Qualifications
- CNA or HHA preferred
- CPR and First Aid Certification required or must be obtained within first 6 months of employment
- Experience with responsible care-giving skills in Human Services Field
