Job Summary
Villa Colombo Toronto is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide nursing care in accordance with CNO standards and applicable legislation. Responsibilities include administering medications, documenting clinical data, and participating in care planning. Candidates must be registered nurses in good standing and demonstrate knowledge of geriatric nursing.
Required Qualifications
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current CPR certification
- Knowledge of applicable legislation, including the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021
Additional Requirements
- Satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (issued within the last six months) as a condition of employment
- Compliance with occupational health, immunization, and screening requirements
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
