Job Summary
A Room Attendant works alone or as part of a team to clean hotel room. The attendant is responsible for tasks such as wiping down surfaces, cleaning windows, vacuuming, mopping and emptying trash bins. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include cleaning guest rooms and guest areas (making beds, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning bathroom, replenishing supplies, cleaning windows, mirrors and patios), ensuring rooms are completed within the allotted time, handling waste and ashtrays, using provided chemicals with PPE, following safety procedures for bloodborne pathogens, documenting damaged property or missing items, maintaining a stocked cart, and communicating with guests professionally. Ability to act independently with little supervision, good attendance, grooming, uniform, and following resort policies are noted. Physical demands include lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, exposure to chemicals, and moderate noise levels. PayType is hourly with HiringRate listed as 15.
