Job Summary
Store Manager role at Goodwill Industries of Northeast Iowa responsible for overseeing daily retail operations in Cedar Falls, including direct supervision of Assistant Manager, Sales Associates, Utility Workers, and Team Leads. Manages donation flow from collection to sales, merchandising, cash handling, inventory control, loss prevention, safety, and compliance with regulations. Provides training, evaluates performance, sets store vision for merchandising and customer service, analyzes sales data, and collaborates with District Manager. Travel to additional agency locations may be required; expects availability during nontraditional hours including weekends and evenings. Requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to drive revenue through effective staff management and store operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years military service or related full-time employment
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency
- Valid driver's license and automobile insurance
- Forklift license (if able)
