Job Summary
Lead tailored engagement strategies with healthcare professionals through 1:1 and group scientific interactions, leveraging digital tools to optimize omnichannel approaches. Conduct non-promotional engagements to ensure safe product use, then share insights across Medical Affairs, global teams, and cross-functional units. Support Medical Affairs events, advisory boards, and symposia while coaching and mentoring team members to maximize field activity quality and quantity. Drive organizational medical strategy as a field leader and role model for the MSL team.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a high-performing team and with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally
- Strategic thinker with leadership skills
- Resilient self-starter who can act independently and learn quickly
- Demonstrates ethical conduct and accountability for impact
- At least three years of experience as an MSL or in an equivalent role within the industry
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in Japanese
- Business-level written and verbal communication skills in English
Desired Qualifications
- Perceptive, creative, and proactive, with the ability to contribute new ideas and build consensus
- Acts as a change agent, fostering innovation and collaboration
- Strong scientific knowledge and insight in HIV/Virology/Infectious Diseases
- Master's degree or PhD in science, and/or qualification as a Pharmacist or MD
