Job Summary
Lead a high-impact team of Strategic Account Directors as Area Vice President, Strategic Accounts to drive sales for the LAI injectable portfolio. Align and execute regional business strategy across marketing, market access pull-through, launches, multi-channel engagement, and employee development to achieve top- and bottom-line growth. Build external relationships with key customers and thought leaders, recruit and develop a high-performing team, embed Health Informatics into the CARE team, and instill a coaching culture while ensuring compliance and risk management. Travel domestically as needed to work with the team in market. Requires a BA/BS degree, 5+ years of US pharmaceutical account management experience, 5+ years of direct leadership experience in the US, and a valid driver's license; preference for advanced degree and experience in buy-and-bill/reimbursement, HIV knowledge, and matrixed leadership. The role offers the opportunity to lead strategic initiatives in a mission-driven organization focused on leaving no person living with HIV behind.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree
- 5+ years pharmaceutical account management experience within the US market
- 5+ years pharmaceutical direct leadership experience within the US market
- Experience recruiting, developing and leading account management or sales teams to work cross functionally within an integrated account team model that includes multiple field-based team members
- Experience leading specialty teams to launch and deliver products
- Experience in developing strategic business plans with specific, measurable, action-oriented objectives
- Travel domestically as necessary, which may will include overnight
- Travel, majority of time will be spent with team in market
- Valid Driver's License
