Job Summary
VIE assignment in Shanghai for a Business Development role focused on shipbuilding supervision. Responsibilities include evaluating CMA Ships Newbuilding service portfolio, conducting market analysis to identify commercial opportunities, defining and developing a market entry strategy, promoting value proposition, increasing service visibility, and building relationships with prospective customers and partners. The role involves time in the field to understand the technical environment, ships under construction, and the shipbuilding supervision profession. Based in Shanghai with regular travel; operates within an international, dynamic maritime industry environment emphasizing innovation, energy transition, and decarbonization. Requirements include a Master’s degree in Business Development or equivalent, international experience, initial experience in service selling/marketing/business development, ideally B2B exposure, strong assets in technical/industrial services, and fluent English. CMA Ships is part of CMA CGM Group, CMA Ships Shanghai is the subsidiary in China.
Required Qualifications
