Job Summary
Film all live hockey action during Norfolk Admirals home games for in-house, broadcast, and social media use. Edit and organize game footage in real-time to generate on-the-fly social content. Assist in producing hype videos and other creative visual content to energize the fan base. Post in-game highlights and clips to Admirals social media platforms promptly and accurately. Collaborate with the Director of Broadcasting and Hockey Communications to ensure consistent, high-quality output. This internship runs from October 2026 through April-May 2027, requiring availability for evenings, nights, weekends, and occasional holidays during the 2026-27 season.
Required Qualifications
- Experience filming live sports
- Ability to edit video quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines
- Familiarity with all major social media platforms (Instagram, X/ Twitter, Facebook, TikTok)
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Audition
- Reliable, with excellent technical, time management, and communication skills
- Available to work evenings and weekends during the Admirals' home schedule
- Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and take initiative
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow as a content creator
