Job Summary
Shoot and edit high-quality video content for pregame, game, and postgame broadcasts, including stories, practice, and in-game coverage. Manage the full production lifecycle from concept ideation to tagging and logging video assets while keeping track of equipment. Work collaboratively with producers to execute on-time tasks across varied platforms, adapting to a flexible, event-based schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays. Based onsite in Salt Lake City, this role supports both the Utah Jazz and Utah Mammoth broadcasts within a transparent, community-obsessed team environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience shooting and editing in the world of sports
- experienced storyteller who knows how to shoot for broadcast
- familiar with Sony cameras, specifically the FX3 and the FX6
- expert in Adobe Premiere
- 2+ years as a Videographer and Editor
- expert-level knowledge of Sony camera equipment
- expert-level knowledge of Adobe Premiere
- organized and efficient worker
- used to juggling multiple projects at the same time
- Excellent communication skills

- time management skills
- Ability to communicate and express themselves both written and verbally
- Ability to ice-skate
- Ability to observe, inspect, estimate, and assess
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, and climb stairs for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 20 lbs
- Position will be based in Salt Lake City
- Remote work (full or part-time) is not an option
- Ability to work a flexible, event-based schedule that will include nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours
