Job Summary

Conduct end-to-end video production from concept to post, managing camera, lighting, sound, editing, and color grading for weekly social clips, monthly shoots, and annual client documentaries. Build the in-house video pipeline, establishing workflows, templates, and asset standards while defining the brand's unique visual language. Lead large-scale productions, including recruiting films and podcasts, and translate live events into reusable digital content. Collaborate closely with the editorial team and brand leadership to iterate rapidly on visual style, ensuring high standards without client approval bottlenecks. Operate with full creative autonomy to develop a distinct handschrift that elevates the consulting firm's visual reputation.

Required Qualifications

Three to five years of end-to-end video production responsibility
Proficiency in camera operation, lighting, and sound on set
Proficiency in post-production including editing, color grading, and sound design
Ability to deliver strong visual work samples
Strong eye for imagery
Proficiency in post-production software stack (Premiere or DaVinci Resolve, After Effects, sound design basics)
Comfortable working with AI tools for research, moodboards, script/storyboard drafts, transcription, subtitles, rough cuts, and asset organization
Ability to iterate independently and quickly
Commitment to the highest standard in all deliverables
Style and taste in visual and general work
Ability to measure oneself against the best brands and studios
Humility to learn from practitioners
Ability to translate brand strategy into video language
Ability to build a video content pipeline from scratch
Ability to define and maintain a unique visual style and handschrift
Ability to manage professional equipment (camera, lighting, sound stack)
Ability to handle live event formats and convert them into digital content
Ability to work collaboratively with editorial and community teams
Ability to align visual style with brand leadership
Ability to produce weekly social clips, four to eight shoots per month, and at least six client documentaries per year
Ability to produce recruiting and client formats, talk formats for YouTube, and podcasts
Ability to produce documentaries showing the people behind the companies
Ability to design and execute the Aalen Mittelstandskonferenz 2027 video side
Ability to create a visible and unique visual language for the brand
Ability to produce recurring documentary and talk series
Ability to develop into a Lead Video role with an own small production team
Ability to manage a production workflow with reusable templates and asset management
Ability to make decisions on equipment needs and maximize setup potential
