Job Summary
Set up administrator and service accounts for SSP network desktop and conference room VTC devices, including CODECs, network connections, and wired/wireless interfaces. Update and maintain AV/VTC deployments using government-supplied hardware, upgrades, patches, and unique applications while ensuring compliance with the AV/VTC Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG). Independently diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to VTC equipment and software, input and update trouble tickets via the Heat Helpdesk Software application, and make real-time decisions during critical situations such as technical failures during important video conferences. Provide oversight to VTC operations to ensure they comply with industry standards and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution
- 3+ years of experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 5+ years of experience
- CompTIA Certification A+
- Network+
- Security+
- Cisco/Tandberg technician training
- Secret clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Installing and maintaining baseline VTC system configurations
- Knowledge of Cisco Call Manager and VOIP connections
- Knowledge in installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing video conferencing equipment and components, cables, connectors, and peripherals on a variety of network configurations
