Job Summary
Operate and maintain all video equipment on board, including cameras, projectors, and editing software, while setting up and testing gear before each show. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide quick solutions, collaborating with technicians and performers to ensure smooth production. Maintain high quality control for all video content, manage inventory, and assist with creating promotional marketing materials. Stay updated on industry trends and adhere to safety regulations while working in various performance spaces. Provide excellent customer service to guests regarding equipment or content inquiries. Requires a minimum of two years experience in live entertainment, extensive technical knowledge, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications for working on board a cruise ship.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Video Technician, preferably in a live entertainment setting
- Extensive knowledge of various video equipment and software, including cameras, projectors, and editing programs
- Strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team setting
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality video content
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary certifications for working on board a cruise ship
