Job Summary
Video Surveillance Officer duties include monitoring live camera feeds, reviewing incident reports, saving video clips, and generating DVR operation reports. Responsibilities include briefing before tours, maintaining a secure video room, identifying suspicious activity, reporting findings to management or law enforcement, operating surveillance equipment, maintaining logs, and reporting equipment malfunctions. Preferred qualifications include Genetec software knowledge and New York State Security License. Full-time role based at the Security Base in the Bronx, NY with hourly pay between $23 and $28 and three shifts to cover early morning, afternoon, and overnight hours.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate
- Detailed knowledge of Article 35 of the Criminal Procedure Law
- This is a stationary position inside the Security Base
- Basic understanding of landlord and tenant law
- Ability to speak and understand basic English
