Job Summary
Operate and troubleshoot professional A/V equipment; support video and multimedia projects from planning through final delivery including filming, editing, and post-production tasks; perform non-linear editing using professional software platforms; maintain and service production equipment; coordinate project requirements with customers to ensure products meet standards; set up, transport, and tear down production equipment for on-site and studio environments.
Required Qualifications
- US Citizen
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain a government clearance
- Associate degree in a related technical field preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in video production, multimedia support, or a similar technical role
- Experience with professional non-linear editing systems (e.g., Final Cut, AVID)
- Working knowledge of studio/field lighting, chroma key, staging, and basic script development
- Familiarity with MAC/PC systems, networked environments, and common media production workflows
- Understanding of broadcast operations, streaming, and video-on-demand platforms
- Strong troubleshooting ability across video, audio, and A/V systems
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments
- Ability to lift and move production equipment
- Awareness of Section 508 accessibility requirements
