Job Summary
Capture home games from the press box and live broadcast feeds for immediate coaching analysis. Tag key events like power plays and penalty kills using professional video software, then organize footage for period-by-period review. Record weekday morning practices and compile scouting reels of upcoming opponents to support game preparation. Manage the team's digital video library and player statistical tracking spreadsheets while maintaining strict confidentiality on all coaching strategy and roster information. This internship offers hands-on exposure to hockey operations, scouting, and player development within the Athens Rock Lobsters organization.
Required Qualifications
- High level of familiarity with ice hockey tactics, formations, systems, and advanced statistical metrics
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding coaching strategy, roster moves, and team discussions
- Availability during weekday morning/afternoon practice sessions as well as home game nights
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with video editing software (e.g., Premiere Pro, iMovie, Hudl, Steva, or Synergy) preferred
