Job Summary
Edit short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook, and paid ads, creating engaging hooks, captions, transitions, and creative variations. Repurpose existing content into different formats and assist with day-to-day social media planning, scheduling, and brainstorming based on current trends. Support marketing initiatives like email campaigns and promotional launches while organizing creative files and content calendars. Communicate proactively regarding timelines and suggest improvements to establish a repeatable content creation system. Deliver consistent, high-quality videos with fast turnaround times in a fast-paced startup environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong short-form video editing experience for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Ads, or similar platforms.
- Portfolio or sample work demonstrating professional video editing skills.
- Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing software.
- Strong understanding of social media trends, hooks, pacing, captions, and attention-grabbing content.
- Excellent written English communication skills.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple creative projects.
- Reliable communicator who provides regular updates and asks questions when needed.
- Coachable, proactive, and open to feedback.
- Creative thinker who enjoys suggesting new ideas, not just completing assigned tasks.
- Stable internet connection and a capable computer for video editing.
- Must be amenable to work onsite at 15th Floor, 1Nito Tower Building, Cebu City.
- Open to working flexible hours, including night, weekend, and holiday shifts.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment where priorities may evolve.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience creating Meta Ads creatives.
- Canva proficiency.
- Basic Photoshop or graphic design skills.
- Experience with Klaviyo or other email marketing platforms.
- Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT or Claude.
- Photography or videography experience.
- Previous experience with eCommerce, automotive, or consumer technology brands.
