Job Summary
Video Editor (Part-Time) for WGME with responsibilities including editing video for daily news coverage and special projects, receiving feeds from news bureaus, collaborating with anchors/reporters/producers on video elements, and meeting daily deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom. Proficiency with Final Cut Pro and familiarity with Avid NewsCutter XP are advantageous. Requires college degree or at least 1 year of relevant experience and ability to work early morning hours in a high-energy environment.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or minimum one (1) year relative experience in the field
- Knowledge of Final Cut Pro
- Avid NewsCutter XP editing technology experience is a definite plus
- Ability to work with a multitude of people and personalities while maintaining a professional work environment
- Available to work early morning hours under tight deadlines
