Job Summary
Video Control Room Intern for the Miami Heat's Arena Video Production team. Intern assists in all stages of production from conception to live execution, including operating control room equipment, crafting motion graphics, content management, logging games, and graphical editing. Duties may include maintaining and updating control room equipment, assisting on event days (including concerts), and supporting the Director of Arena Video Production. Requires willingness to learn across sports production, familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. Education path options include working toward a Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree, or Technical Certificate in Broadcasting/Television Production/Media Production/Broadcast Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree, Associate’s Degree and/or Technical Certificate in Broadcasting/Television Production/Media Production/Broadcast Engineering.
- Editing knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Programs is a plus
- Familiar with operating live Control Room equipment is a plus
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

- Must be comfortable to work in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
- Must be able to keep professional demeanor and work with fans, staff, players, coaches, and front office executives
- Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s/Associate/Technical certificate options mentioned in posting
