Job Summary
Produce short and long-format videos, animations, motion graphics, and multimedia to enhance the College's image across social media, web, and digital platforms. Shoot, edit, and caption video and photographic content for major college events, while assisting with archiving data and collaborating with marketing staff to select assets for coordinated campaigns. Develop communication strategies to publicize programs and write engaging content for print, broadcast, and online newsletters. Maintain brand integrity and aesthetic standards by ensuring consistent appearances and incorporating industry trends and new technical strategies. Perform video and audio production for live events, including recording, editing, and uploading materials to the college website. Work a fluctuating schedule to support these production and communication needs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree within specific subject area related to the position
- Four years of related experience
- Experience with digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera, video cameras and equipment
- Proficient in motion graphics, color correction, color grading, and video and audio editing
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional or similar application
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection or similar to include Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, and After Effects
- Knowledge of Graphic and video image editing software
- Knowledge of Go-Pro equipment and teleprompter
- Knowledge of Social media marketing
- Knowledge of Photography for marketing purposes
- Skilled in Motion graphics and AE template design
- Skilled in Video equipment, lighting, audio gear, editing software, and AI generative tools
- Skilled in Digital photo re-sizing and manipulation
- Skilled in Set-up and operate multimedia equipment
- Skilled in Attention to detail while maintaining effective time and task management
- Skilled in Effective customer service
- Ability to Effectively communicate verbally and in writing on a regular basis with internal and external customers, build relationships, manage customer expectations and take responsibility for a high level of service
- Ability to Troubleshoot general software and hardware issues
- Ability to Interact in a positive manner with diverse populations and varying education levels of students, faculty, staff, and the public
- Ability to Produce videos independently and with a team
