Victim's Services Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate tribal criminal justice initiatives and programs, managing special projects, grants, and compliance with federal and tribal regulations. Facilitate interagency collaboration by serving as a liaison between tribal, federal, state, and community partners to ensure cohesive program delivery. Analyze program data, monitor outcomes, and develop policies to improve justice system performance and advocate for culturally appropriate services. Organize training sessions for court personnel and stakeholders while connecting justice-involved individuals with resources and shelters. Conduct research to enhance practices and participate in community events to raise awareness about domestic violence and victim rights.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as criminal justice, social work, public administration, or a related field
- National Advocacy Certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to use an integrated accounting software system and Microsoft applications
- Experience in program coordination, grant management, or criminal justice
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of tribal court procedures, criminal justice regulations, and best practices
- Familiarity with tribal cultures and traditions
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain personal composure
- Ability to multi-task and interact with a wide variety of people at various times and on complicated and diverse issues
- Ability to always maintain a professional demeanor
- Must be culturally sensitive and respectful to the beliefs and traditions of the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma
- Must be compliant with the personnel policies
- Must conform to all Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma Policies and Procedures
- Must be able to report and document accidents/injuries immediately to supervisor
- Must attend all scheduled employee trainings
Desired Qualifications
