Job Summary
Lead US Marketing Strategy and deliver the US P&L, managing annual revenue and operating plans while securing investments for inline and launch brands. Provide subject matter expertise and thought leadership on critical business challenges, shaping launch planning and go-to-market strategies for rare disease and oncology products. Drive vision and design of US Marketing capabilities, ensuring alignment across Commercial, Medical, Supply Chain, and Regulatory stakeholders. Hire, mentor, and develop talent in alignment with succession goals while championing a learning environment. Manage US Commercial strategy to reflect patient and customer voices through oversight of insights and stakeholder partnerships. Report to the SVP and Head of Rare Tumor Franchise, N.A., requiring onsite presence three days weekly and 50% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (business or related disciplines)
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
- Minimum of 7+ related experience in leadership roles in marketing, sales and other commercial functions with experience in brand leadership, in-line marketing, specialty marketing, and P&L
- 5+ years people leadership experience with 1 year managing multiple functions
- 50% Travel Required
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- Field experience a plus
- Recent US launch experience in rare disease and/or oncology strongly preferred
- Experience in managing commercial partnerships and co-promotions
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and developing teams in sales, marketing and related commercial functions
