Job Summary
Source real estate investment opportunities across target markets, manage underwriting and negotiation, and present approved deals to the investment committee. Lead the due diligence process by reviewing legal, operational, and engineering reports while flagging and resolving escalated issues. Partner with debt capital markets on financing and assume asset management responsibilities during the transition to the asset management team. Manage and develop investment analysts and associates while sharing market intelligence with US asset management and investment teams. This role requires 15+ years of commercial real estate experience and focuses on acquiring multi-family properties in the US.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 15 plus years work experience
- 13 plus years with an MBA or equivalent
- experience in commercial real estate
- majority within investment roles
- Strong professional relationships throughout the US real estate industry
- Recent relevant investment experience in US commercial real estate across various asset classes
- Asset Management experience
- Ability to evaluate real estate and real estate markets
- Critical thinking ability to analyze an opportunity and make a quick decision
- Collaborative, results driven leader
- 100% onsite presence
