Job Summary
Develop new client relationships and gather in-market deposits through self-sourcing and prospecting calls on prospective businesses. Maintain existing accounts by performing deposit reviews, cross-selling products, and making internal referrals while meeting monthly call goals. Collaborate with commercial bankers and lending teams to ensure compliance and regulatory adherence on a continual basis. Stay current on industry technology, trends, and competitive rates to provide accurate market data and new product solutions. Review deposit documents for accuracy and assist other officers to meet all compliance requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Post-Secondary degree in relevant field of study
- Minimum of 5 years of Treasury Management or Commercial Banking/Lending experience
- demonstrated success in a sales and business development role in banking/deposits/treasury management
- sourcing new clients through individual calling and networking
- Results-oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong organizational skills
- good-judgement and decision making
- ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Be an active member of the community by attending networking events and developing relationships with centers of influence
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Cash Manager (CCM) designation preferred, but not required; Support is also given to complete this designation as part of the role.
