Job Summary

Drive the North Puget Sound transportation business by coordinating with the Local Business Lead to develop local growth strategies, manage forecasts, and oversee overhead expenditures. Lead cross-functional collaboration with National Business Lines and other WSP practice areas to deliver integrated responses to complex client challenges. Represent the company at civic and industry events while fostering a collaborative, inclusive work environment that supports talent acquisition and employee engagement. Manage internal and external client issues, resolve conflicts, and maintain key performance indicators including sales, funding, EBITDA, and staff retention.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 12 years of experience with a college degree or equivalent experience in the A/E/C industry with a strong focus in transportation
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Planning, Business, or related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience of leadership, personal accountability, persistence, and growth
  • Experienced in leading and overseeing teams to produce high-quality deliverables across projects and programs
  • Ability to innovate and re-think the conventional approach to client and employee engagement
  • Strong business acumen with an aptitude for improving processes
  • Sound decision-making, strategic and visionary thinking, and creative business development capabilities across a multi-disciplined practice
  • Established relevant client relationships and industry contacts in the local area
  • Commitment to internal and external client service
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
