Job Summary
Lead Flatiron’s transmission function across all development markets and projects, overseeing interconnection strategy and all transmission planning activities for utility-scale standalone battery storage projects; manage a growing team of transmission professionals, engage with ISOs/RTOs, utilities, and regulatory stakeholders to advance projects, and direct negotiations related to interconnection agreements, study assumptions, and related commercial arrangements; provide technical leadership on transmission planning, power flow analysis, dynamic modeling, and system reliability considerations; collaborate with Development, Finance, Commercial, and Operations to ensure seamless transition from development through execution and support permitting, procurement, financing, and commercial contracting processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field required; Master’s or post-doctorate degree preferred.
